About Me

I am so excited to be sharing this classroom with you! I will graduate in Spring 2019 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Mathematics Education and English Education. During college, I marched with the Blugold Marching Band as a SOUSAPHONE...ironically, after three years, I still don't know how to play the sousa (as I originally played the alto saxophone). With the band, I've played at US Bank Stadium, Lucas Oil Stadium, around the Midwest, and on two international trips (Barcelona and Italy in 2016; Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia in 2018).

In 2018, I was hired as the Forensics Coach at Eau Claire Memorial High School. This is one of my absolute dream jobs. I believe that it is important to help others find their voice and help them develop and use it to better the world around them.

Outside of school, I LOVE spending time with my family. When I get a free weekend, I enjoy going to my hometown of Waupaca, WI to visit my parents as well as my mom's half of the family or going up north to Glidden, WI where I can visit my dad's side of the family. Luckily, everyone gets along...especially our dog Izzy. Well...Izzy doesn't like the chickens too much (when I moved out and went to college, my mom and dad bought chickens).

Anyway, this looks like it will be a wonderful class! Please let me know if you have any questions!
